What's the minimum age for Starting with Music Lessons at Aureus?

At Aureus Academy, we believe music is for everyone! We have learners starting music lessons as young as 2.5 years old! We welcome the young at heart too - it's never too late to pick up a new skill!

How can I Keep track of my child's progress?

Our Teachers will update you on your child's progress points after every lesson and if you want to take it a step further, all parents are welcome to sit into lessons so you can be a part of your child's learning journey!

What are your rescheduling policies?

Glad you asked! At Aureus, you'll experience the ultimate flexibility in rescheduling lessons. You'll only have to give a 4 hour notice to reschedule or cancel a lesson, and our makeup lessons are valid for 6 months after the cancelled lesson date!

Notifications Management

On updating to the latest version, you will be prompted to allow notifications when you log in with your registered email address and password.

To stay informed of any changes to your account, we recommend clicking ‘Allow’.

We’ve also added a new onboarding page to introduce the Notifications feature and prompt users to enable notification permissions.

Notification Settings

You can choose how you receive Lesson Notifications in Notification Settings. Simply go to the Account tab and scroll down until you see Notification Settings.

We recommend keeping notifications "On" for both Push Notifications and Emails so you stay up to date with any changes that might occur. You will always have updates on record too.

Added a “Complimentary” tag to lesson cards to easily differentiate between lesson types (regular, make-up & complimentary)

Examples of Notifications

Lessons Related

When a scheduled lesson has been cancelled.
When a scheduled lesson has been rescheduled.
When a make-up or complimentary lesson has been scheduled.
A reminder for customers that a lesson will take place the next day (in 24 hours).
A follow-up reminder to let customers know that the planned lesson will not happen the next day because it's been previously cancelled. (see point 1)

Note:
- If the lesson has been cancelled/scheduled/rescheduled by you, this notification serves as an additional layer of confirmation.
- If the same action was done by an Aureus staff, this serves as a timely update to you as it will be sent immediately.

Credits Related

When your make-up or complimentary credits are expiring soon. (Reminders will be sent 30 days and 7 days before the credit expiry date)
When you receive complimentary credits from Aureus.

When a new update of the Aureus Parent App has been released, you will be prompted to update the app.
