Music Exploration Class for Toddlers & Preschoolers – Aureus Academy Singapore

Aureus Academy offers both individual and group Music Exploration courses for children 3 to 5 years of age. Our programmes are structured to introduce basic musical concepts to kids through fun-filled activities and games!

A Roadmap to an Enriching Musical Journey

With the objective to strengthen the participants’ musical foundation for learning an instrument, different areas of music are explored in each session through following these three phases of learning:

  • Recognition: To assure a visual connection
  • Comprehension: To assure memory and retention
  • Application: To assure mastery of the concept

This creative learning platform aims to yield specific music learning outcomes that center on cultivating hand-eye coordination, concentration, and the ability to match pitch.

The Benefits of Making Music Together

Music Exploration at Aureus Academy is anchored on constructivist principles. The primary goal of our instruction is to create musicians who can sing and play instruments individually and in a collaborative setting. Learning musical concepts and playing instruments in a group provides children with the opportunity to interact with other students, which paves the way to attaining social and cognitive skills.

Expose your brilliant toddler to the joys of music making at a very young age! The Musical Toddlers class is packed with activities that center on aural recognition, recall and discrimination. At this early stage, children are able to cultivate their aural senses and hand-eye coordination. In addition to this, our music rooms are equipped with wonderful instruments that your child can explore and play! After approximately 12 weeks, the teacher will give a report on the progress of each student. Collaborative performance at the end of the course is one of the highlights!
