Effective from July 1st, all Aureus Academy customers who are not enrolled in our auto-billing system will be required to pay an additional 3% admin fee for their music lesson tuition. To avoid this admin fee, please discuss with our front-desk staff to enrol in our auto-billing platform or pay for your music lesson tuition in one of our pre-payment packages above. Our system is designed to be automatic so that it generates invoices, emails them to you, collects payment, and sends you a receipt automatically! It’s all powered by Cybersource, which is a subsidiary of Visa Inc, one of the largest and most widely trusted payment service providers in the world. How does our billing system work?
Our billing system is designed to be automatic so that it generates invoices, emails them to you, collects payment, and sends you a receipt automatically! The chances of an administrative error has been nearly eliminated, and you don’t have to worry about the additional 3% admin fee. It’s all powered by Cybersource, which is a subsidiary of Visa Inc, one of the largest and most widely trusted payment service providers in the world.
Is it safe?
Absolutely! Our software is PCI DDS compliant. This means that Visa, Mastercard, and American Express have certified the level of encryption our system uses to process and store your information. This certification has to be renewed on a yearly basis and is considered to be military grade data encryption. We cannot see your billing information ourselves, but rather, we can see that you have a payment method on file and that payment will be used for payment. This information is held by Cybersource Inc, which is one of the worlds largest online credit card transaction companies (and also a subsidiary of Visa Inc.), and processed by them as well.
Why 3% Admin Fee?
Aureus Academy now has over 1,500 students enrolled in music lessons across our centres. Because of this, it has become increasingly laborious to go through our students records to see who has paid and who has not. In order to handle this amount of time, we will be hiring a staff that will be responsible for outstanding family accounts and other duties. Otherwise, you can enrol in the auto-billing system and we will not charge you the 3% admin fee.
When will I be billed?
Tuition is due by the first lesson of every month. Billing will be automatically set so that it is charged within the first 7 days of every month. An invoice will be made and emailed to you. Once you have been emailed an invoice, your account will be charged and a receipt will also be sent to you. If you would like a printed version, we can do that as well on site!
Will I be overcharged?
No! We have placed limits on your account so you can not be overcharged. If a teacher is sick or a credit needs to be carried over to a following month, we will do so on our end. If you’re ever over-billed, a refund will be issued immediately back to the card that is charged.
